This policy explains what information Prove Your Pick (“we”, “us”) collects when you use proveyourpick.com and its app, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Information you give us:
Information collected automatically:
The game is public by design. Your username, profile picture, social links, picks, targets, results, comments, votes and leaderboard positions can be seen by anyone, and may appear in share images or on our social media. Your email address and password are never shown to other people.
We share information only with companies that help us run the service, and only what they need: our database and sign-in provider (Supabase), our hosting provider (Vercel), our email provider (Resend), and an AI provider (Anthropic) that helps summarize public company filings and news. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people from harm, or if the service is sold or merged.
We keep your information while your account is open. Picks are a permanent public record while your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep it by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act. Email us and we will help.
The service is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child under 13 has signed up, email us and we will delete the account.
We use encryption and access controls to protect your information, but no service is perfectly secure. Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email.
Questions or requests: hello@proveyourpick.com. The rules for using the service are in the Terms of Service.
